CUSTOMER SUCCESS: FOX SPORTS' WORLD CUP PRODUCTION
The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia production this summer by Fox Sports will be the largest production in its 24 year history with more live games than the last four World Cups combined. During the month-long tournament, Fox Sports will air all 64 matches live and offer extensive studio programming that will be available via live streaming. In addition, it will offer five bonus feeds per match for second-screen consumption.
To help make all this possible, Fox Sports worked with Aspera and Telestream to ensure reliable transmission, delivering near-live content over its IP network, delivering high-resolution content from Russia to Frankfurt to the Fox broadcast center in Los Angeles for live editing in less than 10 seconds.
