Aspera software powers the upload of video content to several of the Internet's most popular online music and video stores, and is used for high-speed file transfer between the Hollywood studios, their post-production partners, the content aggregators, and finally to CDN's.

An example content provider reduced daily upload times from 3.5 hours to 7 minutes. Cross-country and intercontinental transfers over high-speed backbones are over 100X the speed of conventional protocols, and even more important, finish in the same time, every transfer.

These end-to-end deployments are exploiting the Aspera software as a complete transfer platform -- providing maximum performance and rigorously consistent transfer speeds, complete security, and trackable transfers from end-to-end. Products

Aspera's server products include Aspera Enterprise Server and Aspera Scp for Point-to-Point. Aspera Enterprise Server supports multiple-connection and advanced management features, and Aspera Scp for Point-to-Point is for single-connection servers. Client products include Aspera Scp Client and Aspera Connect. Aspera Scp Client can connect to all server applications, while Aspera Connect can only establish connection to Aspera Enterprise Server with a web-based file server.
