The Database Logger is a component of the Aspera Enterprise Server that supports logging all Aspera transactions to a MySQL database. The configuration requires a MySQL database system, either on the same or a remote machine in the same network. To configure the database, you need to set up the database schema for your MySQL and the proper configuration on the Aspera Enterprise Server. The Database Logger supports MySQL 5 and above. Before setting it up, make sure the MySQL database is installed and configured correctly. The latest community version can be found at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/.
