ASPERA FILES AND ASPERA TRANSFER SERVICE
GAIN MOMENTUM

In the past year, Aspera has launched Aspera Files, our SaaS solution for sharing large files and data sets directly from cloud and on premises storage, and the Aspera Transfer Service, a hybrid multi-tenant service for fast and secure big data transfers to, from, and across cloud object storage systems. Adoption of both services is accelerating, driven by the continued growth in file sizes and data sets and the need to securely share those files across remote teams.

New Aspera Files and Aspera Transfer Service customers include:

  • Syncro Services, which provides a broad range of distribution and post production services for all types of video and film content to advertising, media, and broadcast communities.
  • Synacor, a trusted technology development, multi-platform services and revenue partner for video, internet and communications providers, device manufacturers and enterprises.
  • ReelzChannel, which partners with multiple leading content publishing and syndication services who operate their platforms in the public cloud to scale distribution of its ReelzTV Everywhere content.

CUSTOMER SUCCESS: IMPROVING BANKER PRODUCTIVITY WITH FAST, SECURE FILE SHARING

A global financial institution provides its 10,000+ bankers with a content management system to securely share sensitive documents for corporate banking activities. Remote teams were struggling to access critical documents, sometimes taking more than 20 minutes to download a single file. The bank deployed Aspera server software in their data center and embedded Aspera FASPStream in the desktop application, improving download speeds over 500% and enabling bankers to collaborate in real time and meet tight transaction timelines.
