ASPERA ENTERPRISE SERVER, CONNECT SERVER, POINT-TO-POINT AND CLIENT 3.4.5 FOR OS X

The latest generation of all core FASP transfer products, version 3.4 is now available for OS X, in addition to Linux and Windows, with expanded direct-to-cloud high-speed transfer capabilities and many exciting new advanced features. All products are enabled with new native connections for direct high-speed transfer of large files, directories and even sets of small files to Akamai Net Storage, Google Object Storage, Openstack Swift supported by IBM SoftLayer and Rackspace, in addition to AWS S3 and Microsoft Azure BLOB.

The technology supports all Aspera transport capabilities including direct-to-cloud storage, large numbers of concurrent transfers, as well as automatic resume of interrupted transfers, on-the-wire encryption and encryption at rest, and HTTP fallback to each of the cloud storage platforms. Additionally, FASP provides advanced options for Glacier downloads and preservation and restoration of file timestamps and mime types when transferring to S3.

The whitepaper describes how the Aspera FASP high-speed transport platform is enabled to provide high-performance secure WAN transport of files, directories, and other large data sets to, from and between cloud infrastructure, overcoming the WAN data movement bottleneck. The deep integration with the object storage APIs delivers maximum transfer performance, while adding key transfer management features otherwise unavailable such as pause, resume and encryption over the wire and at rest. Read the Whitepaper
